I recently got Peter and Auckland Commercial Roofing in to replace a roof for one of my clients before we put their property on the market. It wasn’t a huge roof, but there was plenty going on—lots of penetrations, old air conditioning units to remove, and an air conditioning engineer and electrician needed to get it all sorted.

After a frustrating experience with the previous roofer, Peter was a breath of fresh air. He took ownership of the whole job, organised the trades and worked around the six tenants in the building. He made what could have been a stressful process really straightforward.

The job was finished within the agreed timeframe, my client was very happy, and Peter came up with some clever, practical solutions that helped keep the costs down too.

This is the third roof Peter has done for my clients, and I’ve been really happy every time. As an agent, having someone you can trust to take charge and get things sorted makes a huge difference.

Peter came to see me personally and we discussed what needed doing. Initially it was going to be just a repair job on a verandah roof, but it soon became obvious that my main roof needed replacing. The 63 year old tiles were loose and worn. The workers were thorough, and very pleasant to deal with. And it didn’t take them long to finish a big job. Next on the list was the verandah roof which I decided to replace. But it became more complex than first thought because the structural integrity was very poor. Really happy with the work Auckland Commercial Roofing did on our building. Being so close to the ocean, we needed a roof that could handle the salt air and coastal weather. Our large factory roof was over 40 years old and, being located close to the shoreline, years of exposure had caused significant corrosion to the metal roofing. The internal gutters were also leaking in multiple areas, and after years of ongoing maintenance, we knew it was time for a more permanent solution.
